You can also find a bunch of really ODD stuff there. This applies for most thrift stores. Here is a few things we found at both places and stuff that my daughter had to play dress up in. Yes, thrift storing can also be fun as well.
Take note these are camera photo pictures !
There was some really cool looking reading glasses at the front counter. Josie had to try on these librarian looking ones. She looked cute in them!
These remind me of those glasses that were really popular in the 80's that takes over your entire face. The kind you see Penelope Ann Miller in The Adventures of Babysitting. Yah, these are sooooo NOT my style!
Another oddity. Josie thought this jacket was cool because of the bows.
Abominable snowman boots!
I don't even know what to say about this. This was one of those things on the shelf that you can't help NOT missing as you walk by.
I don't know what to think of this creepy baby doll thing.
I hate clowns. I have a fear of clowns. When I see clowns I want to run and hide. You should all feel lucky I am sticking him up on my blog.
This is creepy to me and strange. There is another clown as well but I am leaving that up to my friend Molly to stick it up on her blog that she has dedicated to the creepiness that is clowns.
This was kind of cool because my brother's name is Sam and he loves risotto!
Josie found this awesome tape player that is also a Karaoke machine in a way . It cost 25 cents and yes, it came home with us!
Ceramic dolls in general have ALWAYS creeped me out. I had a doll when I was a small child and it was place on a rocking chair facing my bed. I swear the damn thing was staring at me. I literally had to get up and turn her around. I couldn't stand it. Seeing how it was from a Grandmother (that I actually admired) I went ahead and kept it for a number of years. It later on was lost to a unpaid storage unit. She had a broken foot and cracked head.
This has nothing on some of the ceramic dolls I have encountered.. This is just outright creepy and it needs to be doused in Holy Water. Just saying.
