Etsy back to school!

As you can tell already I love etsy in all its whimsical, strange, odd , unusual, and really interesting handmade items. I decided to find out 5 things that you can get for BACK TO SCHOOl at Etsy that is pretty inexpensive as possible. School is coming up for us all! I found these really adorable head bands that cost only $5.00 (now, I can't afford them but as soon as I can I might be getting a couple for Joz). In her description ," These Retail for 11.00 in Boutiques and in my shop for 8.00! On sale for back to school for a limited time! Pinks and brown on a brown headband! Kanzashi's are the latest fashion trend in hair accessories! And as you can see they do look adorable on! These are made by Bellasma on Etsy.com who has some pretty other things to look at! Not a big secret here that I love journals and notebooks! I keep many notebooks and journals of my thoughts, story ideas, words that I think would be cool in a poem or story, poetry, etc. My daughter also has this fascination with journals as well. I love the color of this one and that is what got my attention. This is by As Always Angela on Etsy dot com who also has gift cards, tags, etc. You should check out her shop! I love her things! These are weirdly whimsical and delightful at the same time! I enjoy different things like these! They are called Lovely Lady Noggin top pens by Gingerweeds on Etsy dot com (no, I don't get paid to advertise this company!). These cost $6.99 each but are handmade and adorable! I think it would be awesome to be sitting in my college class with one of these topping my pen so the atmosphere around me isn't as boring as the sanitizer you smell in the air. For my last two items I decided to search under vintage which often times is just a little more pricey but you find some really cool stuff. Also, something different that no other children will have and no one can accuse you of having their jacket , backpack or what have you! This, my friend, is a vintage United Airlines carry on tote that you can use as a backpack for school! It only cost $24.00 as well and I find that really cheap for some of the NEW backpacks that are out there now. SassyGrove on Etsy dot com also has other things as well to look at as well such as vintage shoes, purses, coats and other unique items. Go check it out for yourself! I got all excited about this Vintage Pack Man School Lunch box because I had one!!! Now, that just dated me. It does have someone's name (Philip) in blue sharpie inside which I am betting some magic eraser stuff will get rid of it! This is when backpacks actually came with a thermos and you would always wind up losing it but now you pay twice as much for thermos to go with your lunch box that is always more expensive year to year or now has a new feature such as freezable inserts, extra pockets, or purse straps for girls. Apparently, "This lunch box was obviously loved by a child named Philip Larsen. He must have lost the thermos, but I'm sure he had many tasty meals from the lunch box! The latch and handle are in perfect working condition." Yup, just like many of us little Philip Larsen also lost his thermos but it is really cool looking and who can say that this isn't yours and is theirs? seriously!....Chocolate for the Soul from Indiana also has 100 other items up for sale so have fun looking! Again, I don't get paid to write reviews for Etsy I just find things interesting. I also don't know any of these people who I reviewed about today but if you can throw them a HEY ! I found this on Paulinerose's blog they might find that interesting! :)
