Time for back to school for the kids.

The biggest challenge I had getting the kids back to school was getting their sleep patterns on track. During the holiday break they were able to stay up a bit later for television and visiting friends and family. We took many trips to different families house around the city and each trip always included a tin of homemade cookies for the relatives and us, a car full of antsy children just waiting to terrorize their house. Before each venture outside we always made sure to unplug our tree and turn on our home security alarm (information) just in case someone may want to help themselves to our Christmas presents. Now that the kids are back to school and into their regular routine it is my turn to get all the holiday decorations put away and get the furniture arranged again in the living room. Sometimes it's easy to forget how empty the house really is until times like this. Today is their first day back so there is probably another week ahead of cranky children trying to get back into the swing of school and early bedtime.

The ORANGE DOG!
I found a interesting website that is a charity based in Canada which provides freedom flights to rescue abandoned dogs from California that have been neglected due to the recession. We fly planes with dogs back to Canada where they are given to caring owners and save them from being killed.
They have a great little store section that all profits go towards saving dogs lives! That is a great idea! I love this website!
They have some really cool things like reflective dog jackets, collars and leashes, dog beds, dog bowls, etcetra.
The dog jackets are really nice especially since you never know when weather hits . It would go great in your emergency back up kit. Your dog is your family too. You want them just as safe as the rest of you.
There is all sorts of sizes on the dog jacket(s)! You can find one for any sized dog!
